Take the RUN out of RUNNING your home
Like most busy folks in Clinton
,you've probably found that running
a home today keeps you on the nm
(pardon our pun), and nowhere: is
this more evident than in the kit-'
chen—the busiest room in the house.
No one likes to leave a crucial cook-
ing job to answer the phone, unless..
of course, the phone is right there, in
the kitchen. With a handy colourful
,extension you • can make and take
calls while you watch the youngsters
underfoot and that "labour of love"
simmering On the back Burner. The
bedroom too is an ideal spot for a
handy , extension. It will save you a
lot of running to the 'phone down-
stairs and provide a feeling of
security at night, specially if you
are, ever alone. Call us today at
HU 2-3401 and ask about extension
teliephones in colour. We'll be glen
to talk it over with you.
Watch
Our Children
The streets of Orr Clinton
are filled again with
youngsters on their way
back to school. Many of
the are very young and
still, not fully aware of
the dangers of passing
automobiles. May we re-
mind everyone to ekercise
entre caution while driv-
ing near schools or wher-
ever young school ahildreti
may be walking: tat tit
remember that chi'ldren.

I presume it was mustard, for
in. Saskatchewan, fanners are
allowed to grow this weed as
a crop for export purposes. I
never had a. chance to ask 'Mr.

Said, "There's • your CN rag -

bamlked the plane so that I

This bank gave me 'away. I

Tice men fail laughed as 'I qu-

We were headed into a storm
and because of my confession,
Ed was an solicitude. He warn-
ed me it would be bumpy tuytil
he could climb above the clouds.
Once there I forgot all about
my natural fear, We cruised at
175 miles per hour on a mother-
of-pearl carpet, or hittched a
ride oat one fleecy cloud after
another until we broke out into
the bluest (heaven I have ever
seen.
I Learn to "Give"
By the time we buzzed Gr-
and Rapids! I was used to the
banking and had absorbed the
Pilaf's
,instruction to "give with
the .plane". I am sure I would
have been happy to shay up
there 'forever, but there was a
job to do and a lot to learn at
this great power project below
us. When we settled quietly
and without a !bump on the
limestone runway, the pilot lif-

At Uxbridge
Doing Research
Dr. John -A. McIntyre, Ux-
bni*ge, hats had three case re -
rants printed in the July issue
c$ ;the Canadian Journal of
Surgery. The topic was on his nie!
search 1n amain duodenal ob-
struction secondary to trauma-
tic hexnatoma.
Mr, McIntyre, is the son of
rts. Edith McIntyre, Clinton,
and .thte late Dr. Hai y McIn-
tyre. Ilte attended Clinton Pub-
lic School and Clinton District
Collegiate Institute.
The research was carried on
over three years, and more par-
ticularly when he was resident
et St Joseph's hospital in Tor-
onto. This acute intestinal .ob-
struction is considered a rare
occurrence which happens mast
frequenttriy inn children, but can
occur in adult life.
