Hamilton ce'lelbrtated her 8Stth
birthday at a family gathering
at' her home en John Street last
Sunday. Those present were her
brother, Lorne Wilson and Mrs.
Wdllson, Brumfield; her sitters,
Mrs. William Chapman and
MTs. Arthur Rutledge and Mr.
Rutledge, S'eafor th also her
cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Howard
Goodfellow, Borden, Goodfellow,
Mrs. Sarah Hem'bly and MTs.
Lottie Hoover, all of Nobleton,
and Jack Kellum, Kleimiburg.
Mrs. Hamilton is the oldest
living resident of Auburn who
was burn here and she is the
daugihter of the late Mr. and
Mrs: W. ID,, Wilson. She :attend-
ed :the Auburrn school and also
two years at the GGd'errieh High
School,
On January 2, 1901, site mar-
ried the late George Hamilton
and started to 'the west coast to
make her home in Dawson
City. She waited in Vancouver

Mrs. Hamilton is very active
and enjoys n:er hobby of gard-
ening. She enjoys reading and
looks forward to Monday af-
ternoon for her game of "500"
with friends. She is a .chanter
member of the Women'ts liiis'ti-
tute, a member ar St. Mark's
Anglican, Church, a member of
the Ladies' Guild :and a. mem-
ber of Etre Auburn Horticultural
Society.
Mrs, Hamilton has one Son,•

one ,granddaughter and 15 great
grandchildren.
