Knight, 511 Atlas .Ave., Toronto, spent last weekend at their home here. Mr, and Mrs. John R. Cook and farnily,� Ingersoll, are holi- daying at Char -Min in Bay- field. Dr. and Mrs, G, Shepherd' and son James, Windsor, were guests at "The Little Inn" from Sunday to Thursday. Mrs.. George Lindsay was able to leave Clintorn Public Hospital on Friday and is stay- ing with her daughter, Mrs. C. Bell. Miss Kathleen Reid, Wind- sor, was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Diehl from. Sunday to Thursday. The Rev, Canon F. H, and Mrs, Paull, Listowel, came on Thursday to spend a month at their home here, "Cambourne House". Miss Carrie Dixon, Brantford, joined them on Fri- day. Mr, and Mrs. Joseph Healey and daughters, Marianne and Shory, George Hopkins and daughters Georgette and Linda, Windsor, called on the Rev. E, J. B, Harrison at the rectory. on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Parker and two children,: Pam and Jack, Dorchester, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Parker on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. Pounder, Johnny, Cathy and Mary, Chatham, were with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Scotchmer for the weekend. Patricia and Paul Payne ac- companied ccompanied Mr, and Mrs. Gord- on Heard, Donald and Linda to London on Sunday for a visit with them. , Mr. and Mrs. Forbes Mac- Donald, Pickford, Mich., sur- prised their aunts, Misses A. M. and E. J. Stirlingand stayed sta Yd over Wednesday of last week with ,them. They also. visited other relatives in the district. Callers at the rectory on Thursday last were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil A. S. Hill, Miss Ag- nes Hill, City Hall staff, Sarnia, and Mrs. Thomas Smith, Peru, South America; Matthew Hol- mes, William Gates and son William and Hugh Caben, Sar- nia. Mr. and Mrs. William E. Parker, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Featherston enjoyed a motor trip to Manitoulin Island and home via Sudbury, Huntsville and Orillia. They left on Tues- day returning home on Satur- day. Misses Pauline and Marie Locher, Detroit, have been do- ing some water colour sketch- es of Bayfield. Those done this year are on display at The Little Inn and others are being shown at The Village Guild. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tancred, who arrived recently from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, . were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. R. Willock from Wednesday to Sunday evening. They went on to Ottawa to visit their family. Mr, 'and Mrs. Jack Stirling,. Pickford, Mich., with their daughter, Mrs. Myron Seaman, and children Pamela and Brian, DeTour, Mich., visited the for- mer's aunts, Misses A. M. and E. J. Stirling from Friday to Monday. Mrs. T. Ritchie, Mrs. Fred Ritchie, Mr. and Mrs. Monte Ritchie, Elmvale, and Mrs. M. C. Hart, Toronto, stayed at Lloyd's Cabins over the week- end. Mrs, Fred Ritchie and Mrs. Hart called on girlhood friends in the village. Dr. R. G. Hunter was here for the weekend, Mrs. Charles F. Rogers, Mrs Hunter and Sally Beth who have been here for a month also returned to Toronto. Mrs Rogers left Mel- ton Airport on Monday for Montreal where she will visit her son John. Mrs, Hunter and Sally Beth went to Pittsburg to be with her daughter, Mrs. John Downie. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Parker and Mrs. J. Fraser were in London on Monday to visit the latter's daughter, Mrs, William C Parker, who underwent sur- gery in Victoria Hospital, Lon- don, on Saturday: Her two children, Charlie and Kim are staying with their grandpar- ents, Mr. and Mrs. W.
