Make Vestments

The garden of Mr. and Mrs,
Tom Herman, Kirk Street, pro-
vided a charming setting for
the .June meeting of the Chancel
Guild of St. Pawl's Anglican
Church, Clinton. About 18
members and two guests enjoy,
ed a smorgasbord supper;
business sesision followed with
Mrs. N. Counter presiding.
Mrs, P. Dymond read a letter
from the Rev, M. Pinimey, vic-
ar of the Church -of The Holy
Saviour, Waterloo, which ex-
pressed a hope that the North-
ern Area Chancel Guilds would
be willing to provide the Chapel
of Renison College with altar
linens and other needed items,
Benison Collegeis. the new
Anglican Theological College
affiliated with 'the University
of Waterloo.
After discussion it was de-
cided that the memberS of St.
Paul's Chancel' Guild would
make and donate a set of white
linen Encharistic Vestments as
their contribution in response
to this: request.
Mrs, Lillian McKinnon igaVe
a brief hibtory concerning the
life of the late Bishop -Renison
-and read one of his excellent
articles Written shortly, before

president closed the meeting
