Association held their 41st An-
niversary on Tuesday, May 22
in Vhe :forma of a banquet follow-
ed by a meeting at which time
the Orange Degree was exem-
plified, Spix visiting lodges' in
eluding Seaforth, Mit+ohell, Luc-
an, Woodham:, St, Marys and
Lakeside enjoyed a bountiful,
turkey banquet held in Ontario

Guest speaker for the even-
ing was linxriedla'te past Grand

Etta Hunter, Dundas. Follow-
ing the banquet the 65 marnb-
ers. adjourned to the lodge

RR 3, Clinton, was the scene

family celebration when Mrs.
Middletanr's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Maxim (Mac) LeBeau,
RR. 1, B'rucefiefd, celebrated
their solver wedding anniver-
sary.
A sumptuous wedding dinner
was served ,at noon with. 26
persons present. The table was
centred by athree-tiered wed-
ding cake .and the house was
decorated with seasonal 't flow-
ers in 'silver baskets.
Mn. and Man. LeBeau were
married on May 29, 1937. in St.
Joseph's Church, Clinton Mrs.
LeBeau was ,the former Mists
Edna Flynn.
Their wedding attendants,
M. Arnold Dale and Elmer
LeBeau were among those pre -
'sent. Present also were Mr.
and Mrs. LeBeau's eight chil-
dren, two sons-in-law and four
gu+anddhildnen an di special
guests Miss Carol Pepper and
Paul Cadieux.
Their children are Robert,
Maxine (1Vnts. Gary Merrier),
Marie (Mrs. David Middieitonr),
Larry, Michael, Richard, Jam-
es and Peter.

James. E. MacDonald
James E. (Dick) MacDonald,
66, Albert Street, Clinton, died
suddenly at his home -on on Sun-
day, May 27. Born in Clinton,
son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.
E. MacDonald, he was a finish-
er with Sherlock -Manning Piano
Co. until recently.
Mr. MacDonald served in
bath World Wars with the
Canadian Army verseas.
He is survived by his wife,
the former Irene Lineham, at
Slave Lake, Alta.; two sons,
John, with the RCEME at
Kingston; Donald and two dau-
ghters, Misses Nina and Laura,
all of Slave Lake, Alta.; one
brother, Ronald, Clinton; one•
sister, Mrs. Elmer (Laura)
Harness, Exeter.
Service from Ball and Mutch
funeral home, Clinton, on Wed-
nesdayafternoon by the Rev.
Grant Mills, Ontario Street
United Church. Burial in Clin-
ton Cemetery.

Donald Bruce Hedden
Donald Bruce Michael Hed-
den, 33, of 60 Walker Street,
Clinton, formerly of Hensel!,
died in, St. Joseph's Hospital,
London, Monday night, May 21,
as a result of a motor accident
two years ago this July.
He was driving ,alone near
Clinton when something went
wrong with thesteering mech-,
anism. He was thrown out of
the car and struck his back
against the stump of a tree and
Iay in the ditch all night until
found in the morning. He was
paralyzed from the waist down
and confined to a wheel chair
and hospitalized for most of
the time.
Born in Seaforth, he received.
his early education in Hensall
and ten years ago enlisted with
the RCAF at London. He was
posted in Germany, the Yukon;
Barrie and Clinton, and releas-
ed a year ago.
Surviving are his widow, the
former Edith Patricia Meller,
Germany (whom he married on
October 13, 1957), three small
daughters, Ina Christine, Mon-
ica and Stephanie, at Clinton;
his mother, Mrs• Ruth Carter,
Clinton; four half sisters, Mrs.
Todd (Catherine) Donelley,
Portage La Prairie, Man.; Pat -
ricin Rosemary anal Janet, and
two half brothers, David anal
Michael Carter; all of Clinton,
Funeral service was in St;
Joseph's Roman Cathelic Ch-
urch, Clinton, on Thursday
morning, May 24 by the Rev.
L. E. Reed -Lewis. Burial Was
in Clinton Cemetery, Pall -bear-
