ding on Saturday afternoon,
May 19, at two o'clock, when
Evelyn. Ruthann, daughter of
Mr,. and Mrs. Charles -Scot-
chin& became the bride of
Kenneth George Knights, son
of Mr. 'and - Mrs. I George
Knights, Clinton.
Baskets of white lilacs and
yellow tulips and lighted can-
delabras' made a lovely getting
for the double ring ceremony
performed by Rev. W. C. Smith.
The wedding music was played
by Mists Catherine Welsh. She
also accompanied the soloist,
Douglas Fleischauer, London,
who sang "The Lord's Prayer",
"0 Perfect Love" and "The
Wedding Prayer". •
The bride who was given in
marriage by her father, chose
a Door-length gown of nylon
organza over taffeta and, net,
fashioned with, a scoop neckline
and snugly fitting bodice, The
bouffant skirt had side pouffes
enriched with .guipure-lace med-
allions and a. butterfly effect
back. Her elbow-length over-
the-face veil of French il-
lusion was held with a cathe-
dral 'tiara of rhinestones and
pearls. She carried a crescent
bouquet of yellow starlite roses
and stephanotits.
Miss Charlene Scotohmer was
maid of honour 'and the brides-
maid was the bride's sister,
Mrs. Percy Renner, Junior
bridesmaid was .Miss Mary E.
Ermine. They were gowned in
street-length dresses' of daffodil
yellow silk organza over taf.

Following the financial state-
ment given by Mrs. R. J. Lar-
son who was also delegate to
the annual Diocesan Board
meeting, there was considerable
