three churches, Knox Presby-
terian, St. Andrew's United and
Trinity Anglican met in the
parish hall on May 11. The
Rev. Ross MacDonald, Rev. W.
C. Smith and Rev. E. J. B.
Harrison were all present. The
meeting was in .charge of the
Anglican group.
In the absence of the presi-
dent Phillip Turner, the vice-
president, Janice Merner took

secretary read the minutes.
Gayle Turner, treasurer gave
the financial report. It was, de-
cided' to have a weiner roast on
the ' evening of Friday, May 25.
Mrs. R. H. F. Gairdner pro-
jected pictures of Jesus as a
boy in the temple, events of
holy week, Jesus at the resur-
rection and hits appearance.

Mrs. Charles Bell (the baby's
grandmother) entertained at a
christening dinner at her 'home
on Bayfield Terrace. Present
were the guests of honour Jul-
ia,1Vt'arie with her parents Mr.
and Mrs. Howard Armstrong,
and the former's great grand-
mother, Mrs. George, Lindsay,
making four generations; Mr.
and Mrs. Allan Galbraith and
Janis, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bell
and Mark, 'Clinton; Mrs. George
Bela. Mr. and Mrs. James
Hutchings were also her sister's
guests for this happy occasion

Agnes Helen' Murray years, Mrs.
rr passed
away at 8.30 am. on Sunday,
May 20, 7.962, at : Iuronv'ie'w, in
her 92nd year.
Born January 30, 1871, in
Stanley Township, she was a
daughter of William Brown and
Raphael Orr.
When she was about 20 years
of age she was married to Neil
Murray. They had two sons,
William and Donald.
In 1898 Neil Murray went; 'to
the Yukon in the gold rush. He
kept an touch with his wife for•
two year's, After that efforts
to contact him failed,
Mats. Murray raised her boys
i.n Bayfieled .and then went to
Detroit where she resided from
1917-1931.
She purchased' the house now
owned by Dalton; Smith for a
summer home and later bought
the house now owned by Wyl-
h'arn R. Talbot Sr. for a per-
manent residence,
Her illness extended over ,a-
bout five years. She had been
a patient in Victoria Hospital,
London,. for two months and in
Clinton Public Hospital far
some months before having part
of her leg amputated and for
eight months following it. • She
had been a Presbyterian and in
her latter years in Bayfield was
associated with the Baptist
Church.
Surviving are her older sen,
William R. Murray, Warren,
Mich.; four gra children, Mrs.
Mae Castle, Jack Murray,
Owen Sound, Mist: Donna Mur-
ray, Toronto; Willi -am H, Mur-
ray, Sunland, California; seven
.great grandchildren, • William
Jr., Cathy and Susan Murray,
Sunlliand, Calif.; Mrs. Thomas
Colquhoun, ,Clinton; Mrs. Ron-
ald Cogleman, London:; Roberta
and Freda McLeod, Owen
Sound; and four great -great
grandchildren, the- two sons of
Mr. .and Mrs. Thomas Colqu-
houn, Timmy and Jeffrey, Clin-
ton and the two daughters of
Mr, and Mrs. Ronald Coleman,
,London, Nieces, Mrs. J. H.
Parker, Mrs. Lorne Epps and
Mrs. Elsie Seabrook, London.
The funeral was held from
the Ball and Mutch funereal
home, Clinton ,on; Tuesday af-
terinoon, May 22. The Rev. Ross
MacDonald, Presbyterian Ch-
urch, Homan, officiated.
Pallbearers were Ivan Steckle,
Ernest Featherston, Emerson
Heard, William Parker, Harold
Stinson and Alfred Westlake.
