calills and 26 hospital calls
made on sick and shut-ins.
It was decided that the sec-
retary of each unit would be
responsible for sending an •ac-
count of their meeting to tlhe
newspaper,
The resignation of Mrs. Ruth
Knox was accepted by the
meeting.
Miss Nancy Olde and Miss
Cathy Potter opened the pro-
gramme with two instrunzen nal
duets.
The nominations committee
presented their report to fill
vacancies due to the resigna-
tion of Mrs. Knox. It was mov-
ed by Mrs. B. O'd'e and sec-
onded by Mrs Milton Wiltse
that Mrs. Robert Hunter be
the new group three lead'er. It
was mocved by Mrs. Alvin Cox
and seconded by Mrs. Potter,
that Mrs. ,Charles Merrill be
the new first vice-president.

ing of the Willing Workers
group of St. Andrew's United
Church Women was held) at
the home of Mns. Tom Penhale
on the evening of May 9. There
were 13 members and two visi-
tors present.
The president, Mrs, Garth
Pastel, opened the meeting by
repeating tlhe Willing Workers
prayer in =risan.
Mrs. Fred Wallis read the
Scripture, Chronicles 29: 10-13.
Mrs. Torn Penhale gave the les-
seri entitled "Meditation".

received by Mrs. Edgar Rath-
wefll. The group hats invited
members of the Brucefield
choir to present their play
"Happiness Ahead" in Bayfield
town halii on Monday evening
