Clayton Weston was releas-
ed Monday noon after being
held under observation. He had
'not suffered any burns' from the
fire.
Robert Weston was transfer-
red to Victoria Hospital, Lon-
don, Monday afternoon.
Over $1;000 damage was
caused to the house by smoke
and water damage said assist-
ant fire chief Gordon Bannis-
ter. The bed thought to have
been occupied by Robert Wes-
ton wias completely destroyed
and the floor around the bed
had burned through to the din'-
big room below,
range two miles out No. 8
Highway towards Goderich,
would make it difficult for
some of the youngsters to at-
tend. In view of this the arch-
ery committee has received
permigsion from the parks
board to place portable begin-
ners targets in the park.
The golf program was then.
discussed', with "golf night" be-
ing 'considered for ThursdaYs at
4,0. As the turnout for this
activity is very. large it was
further suggested that 'the
learners arrange their own
transportation to and from the
Clinton-Bayfield golf course.
All equipment, clubs, balls and
instructors will be supplied.
Girls softball received good,
but unexpected support from
the local girls and has left the
association with a coaching
problem, At least four coaches'
wile be needed to assist this
activity and at present all

used; If enough players, enter
it waS suggested that a four-
team town league be formed.
If not, then two teams will be
entered in a - district league.
It was decided that there
were enough entrants in girls
volleyball to form four teams.
The location for games, and
schedule is! yet to be decided',
and a representative appointed.
The meeting then discussed
in detail a tentative budget to
be presented for approval to
