fort, by the combined tour On-
tasio milk and cream groups
is now being made to develop
a marketing plan which fully
benefits the, best interests of
all producers of milk and cream
in Ontarki.
Discussions and conferences
have been occurring. regularly
during the past three ,mantra%
At the outset, the four .produc-
er groups executives . assumed
an advisory role. During re-
cent weeks a provisional bond
Of 13 members has been ap-
pointed to complete working
out the details of the •plan.
ThiS', board is compOsod of
three members from each of
the four group executives, .and
one member from the Channel
Island Breeds Milk Producers
Association.
The executives of ,the tour
producer groups, plug one pro-
ducer 'representing the Co-op-
erative Union of Ontario, one
prodinceis representing the Un-
ited Dairy and Poultry Co-op-
erattive, and one producer re-
presenting the Channel Island'
Breeds Milk Producer Associa-
tion, will continue their advis-
ory role on a board to be
known as the Ontario Milk and
Cream Producers. Advisory
Board.
When the details of thesplan
are completed, the provisional ,
board will request the Ontario
Milk IrschIstry Bisard to take
a vote. of all producers.
In preparation for the vote,
the provisional board intendis
to 'fully inform .all milk and
cream .producers in, Ontario on
the particulars of the plan, and
give all full opportunity to
study its merits before they'
are called upon to vote.
If the plan it approved, it
mill be administered by. the
provisional board in its initial
operational stages, and until a
marketing.. board, with equit-
able representation for all pro-
ducers is elected. Studies are
now being maid of methods for
this election.
It is prciposecl that the advis-
ory. board will continue to
function and meet with

$32,000 Fire Truck
For Goderich
Mayor Fisher Says
GODERICH (Staff)—Mayor
Ernest Fisher said Wednesday
the town can expect delivery
of its new fire truck 'by Oc-
tober.
The $32,000 pumper truck
will be !delivered by King Sea-
grove, Woodstock. The pump-
er and truck coats $27,000 and
there will be an additional
$5,000 for hose and equipment.

Sons, Hamilton; LaFrance Fire
Engine Company, Toronto;
Goderich Motors Limited and
King Seagrave. Both commer-
cial and custom units were
tendered.
The -truck will have a fore-
ward cab and the pumper will
deliver . 840 gallons of water
per 'rninnte.
