A touch of the near-professional is added to the CDCI Red and Blue Revue
for 1962 with Orrin Baird's group of musicians. Not in their accustomed
"smashing" Uniform of scarlet jackets and black bow ties, the band posed
for this informal 'shot after rehearsals. Seeing them is believing, but you must
hear .to really know. Hear them to-night and to-morrow at the CDCI audit-
orium. (News-Record Photo)

Informal Setting for Delightful Choral 'Numbers
Senior choir in the Red, and Blue revue to-
night and Friday in the CDCI auditoriuin provides
some particularly fine nunibers, directed by J. Ross
Middleton. The production departs from the white
shirt, black skirt and trouser costume traditional
with school, choirs, to come up with something
more dressy, and with a tinge of the famed Olda-
homa finale. Taken during dress rehearsal Tues-
day afternoon, this black and white view does short '
justice to the colour and atmosphere evident.

proposal for free trade they
"turned it down in horror."

a conversion leati in 1958.

cited the PCs for scraping the

READY FOR PASTURE?
POINTS TO CONSIDER
Are you ready for the past-

for the. whole farm, is one' of
the secrets, of getting the moat
out of -pastures., say Ontario
Department of Agriculture for-

The following are some of the
points 'that .Should' be consider-
ed: Are 'the cattle being turned
out early enough? Is pasture
being 'wasted in' June? Will
there be enough pasture avail-
able for' the entire season?
Will salt and minerals be avail-
able at all times?
What .about fly control? Is,
there any- plan for supplement-
al feeding during the pasture
season? This is the time of year
to make your plans' taking into
account the available acreage
and the number of head of st-
ock to be Pastured.
