F. William Morley, 80, life-
long resident of Usborne Town-
ship passed away 'in' South Hu-
ron Hospital, Exeter on Febru-
ary 13 having been •admitted
only five days previous. He had
been in ill health since Christ-
mas,
Son: of the late Francis Mor-
ley and -Kathryn Recraft, he
Was born on the homestead,
now operated by his son Wil-
liam. In 1908 he married Cora
Dann, Denfield and took up res-
idence on the farm across the
road which he occupied until
his death.
The couple celebrated their
golden anniversary in Decem-
ber 1958. Last November on
his 80th birthday he was hon-
oured at a birthday dinner at-
tended by his family and grand-
children.
He , was the last surviving
member of Court Woodharn
Canadian Order of Forresters
and received his 60 year mem-
bership pin a year ago.
Surviving besides his widow
are three daughters, Mrs. Rus-
sell '(Ruth) Brock, RR 2 Kip-
pen; Mrs. Arthur (Jean) Hod-
gins, Clandeboye; Mrs. William
(Mary) French, Whalen; two
sons, Howard, Hazel Park,
Mich.; William, Whalen; 14
grandchildren and two great
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs.
Harvey (Minnie) Squire, Kirk-
ton and Miss' Lillian Morley,
Milverton. One daughter, (El-
va) died .in 1958.
The' funeral was held from
the Hopper - Hockey funeral'
home, Exeter on Saturday, Feb-
ruary 17 with Rev. Duncan
Guest conducting the service.
Interment was in Zion Ceme-
tery, Usborne Township.

Regular Meeting
The United Church Women
of Turner's Church met at the
home of Mns. William Rogerson
on Thursday, February 15. Mts.
G. McGregor was in charge of
devotions. She quoted the 23rd
Psalm, also the Indian transla-
tion of it and! led" in prayer, .
The' president, Mrs. • E.
Whitmore presided over the
business part of the' meeting.
Eight members answered the
roil call: a Valentine thought.
The program for 1962 which
had been drawn up by the
committee in charge, was read'
by Mrs. Whitmore. Several
topics were 'discuSsed and de-
cided upon. Among them were
centennial plates and a cake.
Those wishing to bring a. cash
&elation for 'the cake to the
March and April meetings' may
do so.
The afternoon was spent in
quilting. The hostess Mrs. Rob-
ert Lawson served a dainty
kmch. The next meeting on
March 15 is to be held at the
home of Mrs. Stanley Johns,
call' to be "A thought for
to-day."
Peter Shebunka
Word has been received here
of the death of Peter Shebunka,
who died Monday, February 26,
at St. Michael's Hospital, To-
ronto. Among the survivors is
a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Anne)
Marzalek, Clinton.
Other survivors are his wife,
the former Annie Yackimetz,
Toronto; one other daughter,
Mrs: Al (Mary) Bilous, and one,
son, Steve, both of Toronto.
The body is resting at the
Yorke chapel of Turner and
Porter funeral home, 2357
Bloor Street West, Toronto, for
a funeral service Thursday at
8.30 a.m. The body will then
be removed to St Josephat
'Ukrainian Church, Toronto, for
requiem high mass at 9 a.m.
Interment will be in Park Lawn
cemetery.

The Tuckersmith Ladies Club
is, holding their meeting at 'the
home of Mrs. Alice Lawson
on Wednesday, March 7 at two
o'clock in the afternoon. Roll
call will he answered by an

Huronview Folk
See Minstrels
Recently the St. Thomas
church choir, Seaforth, brought
to Huronview, for the enter-
tainment of the residents, a
minstrel show of very fine ord-
er, which was greatly enjoyed
by all.
It was under the direction of
J. R. Spittal, choirmaster, In-
terlocutor was Gordon Wright;
enchnen were Dr. Harvey,
Cleave Coombs, Ted Southgate,
George Flewitt. Soloist, Mrs.
Cleave Coombs.
The evening was arranged by
Mrs. Gordon Cuninghame, en-
te,rtainment convener of the
Women's Auxiliary to Huron-
view. Other entertainments be-
ing prepared for the near fut-
ure will be conducted by Lloyd
Holland, William Hearn and
Don Mills, respectively.

Meets in Parlour
At Ontario Street
'The February meeting of
Unit 4 of Ontario Street United
Church' Women was held in the.
ladies parlour on Monday even-
ing, February 26 After a brief
singsong, Mrs. William Jenkins
led in the worship service as-'
sisted by Mrs. Robert Mann.
Mrs. Beatrice Taylor gave the
first chapter of Bible study.
MTS. W. B. Olde gave interest-
ing information concerning the
functions of the UCW member-
ship committee of which she is
convener.
Business was conducted by
unit leader, Mrs. Carman Mc-
Pherson who reported from the
UCW executive meeting. Mrs.
Ross Trewartha was elected as-
sistant leader of the unit.
The next meeting will be a
pot-luck supper on Monday,
March 26 'at 7 pan. Mrs. Keith
Tyndall and. Mrs. Norman Tre-
wartha conducted a social half
hour after which lunch was ser-
ved by Mrs. Harold Black, Mrs.
Elgin Dale, and Mrs. Elmer
Dale.
LOBA Sending
Delegate To
Grand Lodge
Huron Lodge No. 377 of the
Ladies Orange Benevolent As-
sociation held 'their regular
meeting on Tuesday, February
27, It was decided that the
lodge would' send Worthy Mis-
tress Mrs. Peter Harrison as
delegate to Grand Lodge, the
latter part of April in the Royal
Connaught Hotel, Hamilton.
Plans were made to hold a
special card party on Saturday,
March 17. Please watch for
further notice. Lunch was serv-
ed by Mrs. Ethel Shobbrook,
and Mrs. Clayton Hodgins.

Clinton Busy Bees
To Meet Saturday
The second' meeting of the
Clinton Busy Bees was held in
the agricultural office board
room at 9.30 p.m. Saturday,
February 24 with one new
member, Helen Livermore, Cut-
ting material and patterns com-
menced the meeting, with the
president, Mary Ann Hymers
present
Roll call was answered by
"One Thing To Do When •Buy-
ing Material". Linda MacDon-
ald suggested that members
have a picture of a bee on the
book cover.
The next meeting will be held
in the same plate on Satur-
day, March 3 at 9.30 a.m. Roll
call will be "A Pattern .A„Itera-
tion And How To Make It".
Each girl will give the one
needed for' her (Mil pattern, if

1962 Fashion Show
The 'Kinette Club met in the
Oddfollows Hall on Tuesday,
February 27. The evening was
spent in finalizing plans for a
fashion show. The club will pre-
sent the show on Wednesday,
April 4 in the CDCI auditorium.
An added' feature to this
year's show will be the presence
of Hope Ganbor of CFPL Lon-
don as' commentator. Furs will
be included' in the fashions
modelled this year. Following
the meeting the Kinettes en-
joyed a tasty lunch served by
Mrs, Pat Hardie and Mrs. Jim
Helesic.
