The Kinsmen Club of Clinton is no excep- tion to this rule, and on Tuesday, February 20 held a Kin Anniversary night at Hotel Clinton. If was on the evening of February 20, 1920 in the city of Hamilton, Ontario, that the first meeting of the Association of Kinsmen Clubs was organized by Founder Harold A. Rogers. Now this Association serves 389 communities in Canada with well over 12,000 Canadian men as members, the majority between the ages of 21 to 40. These figures indicate a steady rate of growth but the challenge still remains that many communities do not have the opportunity of having a Kinsmen Club serve them. - The true Kin spirit is established on TWO main foundations: 1. Service; 2. Fellowship. The lack of either one of the two would not allow a Kinsmen Club to 'function properly.
