*. For the second straight year,
a team from the Exeter athletic
association won the Clinton
Kinsmen squirt age hockey
tournament. The tourney fox
8-10 year olds is held annually
as part of Clinton's minor hoc-.
key day.
Clinton had defeated Sea-
forth 3-0 in the opening game
of the day, while Exeter was
awarded the 11 am. match
when Zurich squirts failed to
appear. The minor hockey coin-
mittee were very, disgusted over
Zurich's default, because many
district teams had' made appli-
cation to participate. ZUrich
was offered the entry because
they participated last year.
There was no scoring in the
evenly-matched first period.
• But Exeter clicked for three in
`the second which Clinton just
couldn't overcome. Greg Burns
tallied in the second on a pass
from Bill Stirling and Stirling
added another in the third. The
boys played hard for the equal-
izer but were closely checked
by Exeter.
-Exeter scorers were: Haugh
(Janke); Parsons (Parker,
Bower); Guenther (Fuleher).
Stirling was picked as the
star of the game and won a
Maple Leaf sweater and soek
set from the Ellwood Epps Sport
Shop.
Second and third stars were
Larry Haugh, Exeter, and Greg
Burns who received hockey
sticks.
Judges of the three stars
were Ken Engelstad, Mb- Van
Riesen and Bruce Abbott.

"X intend to carry on Jack
Pearson's proven policy of de-
veloping Volume sales through
low prices,' said Bob Taylor
this week. "In addition, I am
going to stress service in our
new organization because I be

surance at no extra cost. When-

sickness or accident, Strikes one
of our customers, 'Double D'

"This wonderful protection
takes the risk out of car pay-
ments and relieves the cust-
omer, right from the start, of
worries over debts in case of
disaster. I believe it's one of
the greatest developments in
the automobile financing field."
