Y. P. A. Christinas Concert The A. Y. P. A. of the Trivitt Me­ morial Church held their annual Christmas tree and concert on Mon­ day night. The business part of the meeting was opened by singing two Christmas hymns and 'prayer by the president. The program consisted of tap dancing numbers by Flynn, Lois Hunter and Greene, recitations by Greene, acrobatic dance by Greene and a duet by Audrey and La- belle Sims. Sandwiches, cake and cof­ fee were served ofter which Bill Davis distributed the presents to Those present. Rev. Mr. Hunt closed the meeting with the benediction. The prize for ladies’ high was won by Miss Pearl Wood and for gent’s high by H. C. Carey. Lunch was served bringing to a close a very pleasant evening. A White Gift service was held in connection with the James Street Sunday School Sunday afternoon. A reading was given by Miss Mary Van Camp. Scholars brought their (gifts wrapped in white and presented them at the platform. The gifts included books and toys as well as ‘warm wearing apparel. In addition a con­ tribution close to $48.00 was receiv­ ed.
