The Thank-offering Service of Women’s Missionary Society held in the Church on Sunday morn­ ing. The service was conducted by members of the society and was well attended. Mrs. (Rev.) Falconbridge delivered a very spiring message. The Centralia. Club visited the spent a very enjoyable evening to­ gether on Tuesday of last week. The November meeting of the Home and School Club was held in the school here on Friday evening of last week. A good program was provided and a very interesting and educating address was given by Rev. Mr. Falconbridge. Mr. Arthur Ricker and Mrs. H. Ricker, of Kippen, were Sunday vis­ itors with Mr. and Mrs. R. Smith, Centralia Sunday School annivers­ ary will be on Sunday, December 4, Rev. A. E. Pletch, of Crediton will be the guest speaker.* On Thursday evening the Y. P. U. visited the Huron County Home at Clinton. The program which was arranged by Miss Gladys Hutchinson and Donald Blair consisted of a hymn followed by the Lord’s Prayer; scrip­ ture lesson by Miss Margaret Mat­ thew; a solo by Mrs. Fletcher; a reading by Miss Florence Mitchell; club swinging by Marie Fletcher; musical selection by Alma and Mr. E. We are pleased to report that Mrs. Will Johns is doing as well as can be expected in Victoria Hospital where she underwent an operation last Wednesday. She is to undergo another of more serious nature this week and her many friends sincerely hope that this may be wholly success­ ful. She was visited by members of her family on Sunday.
