among those dark fields of Morocco.
She told how bad they were in need
of workers, out there, being just two
missionaires for ninety thousand in

education and so far behind the
times in agricultural, at the present
time using the sickle to "cut their
grain,

We are sorry to know
Charles Upshall will be confined to
the house for several weeks having
returned from Stratford Hospital
where he received treatment for his
eye, having being accidentally struck
in the face by a flying stick and
thereby injuring his eye. We are also
sorry to hear that his new car has
been badly damaged the other day.
His hired man, driving at a fast rate
of speed lost control of it and went
over the ditch, through the fence and
landed upside down in Mr. A.

ture her leg near the ankle. It ap
pears that while helping Sandy AIc-

McArthur, to open the heavy barn
door, using a crow bar, the door
slipped from , Sandy’s grasp causing
him to lose control of the crow bar
which slipped, striking the little
girl’s ankle. She was taken to Clin
ton General Hospital for treatment.

and took her to her home in To

Death of Mrs. Joanna Steacy
The death occurred at her home
in Detroit, on Thursday, of Mirs.
Joanna Steacy, widow of the late
Samuel Steacy and a former well
known Hensall resident. Mrs. Steacy
had been in fair health up to a few
weeks ago when she suffered a
severe stroke from which she fail
ed to rally. She was a daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. James Bon
thron and was born on the 3rd Con
cession of Hay Twp.

A very serious accident occurred
on Tuesday afternoon to Floyd Wein

Grain Cleaning and
Grading Plant

Cleaning and Grading Plant. It consists of machinery to
clean and grade seed grain. It will remove all weeds from
wheat including chess and cockle. Also it will separate oats
from barley while cleaning the same. We are now equipped
