James St. Evening Auxiliary
The July meeting of the James
Street Evening Auxiliary took the
form of a supper meeting on the
church lawn. A bountiful picnic
supper was served at 6.30 with Mies
May Jones and her group in charge.
Sports followed in which everyone
heartily entered. Owing to the
coolness of the evening the members
repaired to the Sunday School room
where business was discussed. It
was decided to send two delegates to
the School for Leaders, at Alma Col
lege, St. Thomas, in August. •' Miss
Reta Rowe, in a fascinating inform
al talk took the girls with her on
her recent trip to England and Scot
land. From the time the boat "The
Dutchess of Bedford” left Montreal,
docking at Liverpool, through'Corn
wall, Exeter, London and on through
to Scotland where she attended the
