Willert and has purchased the pro­ perty of Mr. Felix Wild at the west end of the town and moved there on Tuesday. •Mr. Aaron Restemeyer has pur­ chased the property formerly known as the late Marq.uis Bender estate from Mr. Chas. Keller. A car driven by Elmore Restemey­ er cashed into a wagon on the Lake Road about one-half mile east of town. Mr. Restemeyer and his hir­ ed man were icut by flying glass. P. C. M. A Chilly Dip A number from this community have been been at Benmjller sucker fishing and all report exceptionally large catches. Some of the follow­ ers of Isaak Walton got more than fish over the week-end. While wad­ ing in the stream in water a couple of feet deep two of the fishermen lost their footing on the slippery stones and took a dip in the .chilly waters. Miss Thelma Weber was her sister’s bridesmaid, wearing'a gown of baby blue sheer and carried a bouquet of roses and sweetpeas. The groom was attended by Sandford White, of Centralia. Little Miss Norma Beaver, of Exeter, cousin of the bride was a winsome flower girl in pink taffeta with a basket of sweet peas while Master Orland Tay­ lor, of Crediton, was the ring bear­ er. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E. A. Pletch, of Crediton, under a pretty arch of ferns, flowers and silver bells. After the ceremony a buffet lunch was served by four friends of the bride, Misses Aldene Eagleson, Ila Mason, Doreen Becker and Mrs. A. Becker. The bride’s table which was centred with the wedding cake was attractively ar­ ranged with ivory candles and nar­ cissi. For travelling the bride wore a blue suit with hat and aiccessories match. She is survived by her husband and three sons, Charles, of Windsor; John, of I Dearborn, Mich.; Oscar, of Wisconsin and four daughters, Mrs. Louis Rin­ ker, of Dashwood; Mrs. A. D. Jones, of Ohio; Mrs. Emma Schroeder, of Pittsburg, Pa. and Mrs. Ethel Miners at home. There are also a brother Adam Schroeder, of Pittsburg and four sisters, Mrs. Felix Wild, Dash­ wood; Mrs. Rose Cummings, of Chi­ cago Ill.; Mrs. Angus Moore, of Sea­ forth; Mrs. Sophia Sutherland, of California. Death of Louis Kleinstiveri Louis Kleinstiver died on Sunday April 17th at his home here after a few days’ illness. He .helped to clear away the bush from the site where the village now stands and was en­ gaged in saw-mill work and butcher­ ing. He was in his 87 th year. Sur­ viving are-two sons, William and Louis Jr., of Dashwood, a daughter Mrs. Edward .Edighoffer, of Biggar, Sask, and a step-daughter Mrs. Peter Mc'Isaaic, of Dashwood. Funeral services were held at the residence at 2 o’clock On Wednesday with Rev. H. F.'Ropipei officiating, inter­ ment in Goshen Line Evangelical cemetery. Shower for Bride-Elect On Wednesday evening, April 13,. a'bout forty neighbors and friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Eagleson in honor of Miss Edith Weber bride-elect of this, week and presented her with a i grocery shower. The forepajrf of the evening was happily spent in. games and contests. .Miss Edith. Was then placed in a prettily decor­ ated chair under an arch from which hung a sprinkling can with showers of streamers of mauve and yellow emptying into the decorated 'basket of useful grocery gifts. An accompanying address was read by­ Miss Loreen Becker. Eunice Haist, and Gordon Eagleson made the pre­ sentation. The gifts were then opened by the bride-to-be after which she highly expressed her ap­ preciation. A dainty lunch was then., served and the remainder of the evening was Spent in music and song.
