A Chilly Dip
A number from this community
have been been at Benmjller sucker
fishing and all report exceptionally
large catches. Some of the follow
ers of Isaak Walton got more than
fish over the week-end. While wad
ing in the stream in water a couple
of feet deep two of the fishermen
lost their footing on the slippery
stones and took a dip in the .chilly
waters. The current .Was quite
strong at the spot and footing was
regained with some difficulty.

song. The following is the address:
Dear Edith:
So many things you’ll take with you
when you go away,
Hankies by the dozen, and embroid
ered linens gay,
Parcels of all sizes, all packed so-
neat and fine
Thimbles, spools and scissors and
things that would not rhyme.
And silver by the mile, my dear and’
colored'' class so chic—' “ '
You couldn't think of nicer things
. no matter inhere you’d seek.
You’ll likely use these groceries, all
and maybe break the glass,
But the ever kindly wishes of your
friends will never pass.
Wishing you an abundance of happi-
hess tihrotigh your future life. Now
we wish you to accept these few
gifts as a token of our friendship.
Sighed on Ibehalf of your neighbors
and friends.
