Snazel was sent up for trial by Magistrate J. A. Makins early last summer. He is out on $'50'0 bail. Crown Attorney Holmes announc­ ed that there was no necessity for estreating bail or issuing a bench warrant, for the reason that a sec­ ond warrant for Snazel’s arrest on another charge of fraud emanating from Brussels had not yet been exe­ cuted, police 'having failed to locate the young man so far. This was the only criminal case on the docket, the court session last­ ing exactly 13 minutes. The new Methodist Church at Crediton was opened and dedicated for worship on Sunday and Monday, December 17 and 18. The' church vzas destroyed by fire on January 1st of this year. Since that time they have been holding their services in the Women's Institute Hall and the Town Hall. The Church was dedi­ cated in the morning service by Rev. J. E. J. Millyard, assisted by the chairman of the EXetef district KeV. G. W. RiVers and the . pastor of the church Rev. R, A. Brook. The church was presented to the London Con­ ference by the secretary of the Trus­ tee Board,Thos.
