Santa’s Guide
ANTA CLAUS is in town . . . He just phoned
us to say he had made the rounds of all the
leading stores and shops and had distributed
gay and-colorful merchandise that will thrill the
hearts of old and young . . . Another Christmas
shopping season is here . . . and this year, as in all
years past,. . .it will be the thrifty early shop
pers who get the gifts that are bound to please . . .
Merchandise stocks are now complete; there are
wide selections on almost every item that shoppers
may be seeking; ... so now is the time to get the
Christmas shopping under way . . . The easy way
to shop is to first read the ads in The Times-Advo-
cate ... It is in these " advertising displays that
choice gift merchandise is paraded for your con
sideration . . , Read the ads, make note of stores
you wish to visit and of merchandise you wish to
inspect . . . then sail forth for a comfortable and
a profitable Christmas shopping tour.

There is a Santa Claus. His real name is Spir
it of Charity. He is the symbol of benevolence,
compassion and altruism. He is the ideal of that
small legion of really human humans who pave un
selfishly numerous paths to happiness with kind
ness, sympathy and charity.
