Miss Idele Hunter, who has spent the summer with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Hunter, has turned to Toronto to resume studies at the College of Art. The Central Ontario Bus Lines have sold the London, Wingham, Kincardine and Owen Sound route to M-r. Harold Berner who took pos­ session and commenced operation on Friday, October 1st. The Exeter municipal council at a special meeting awarded a contract to Mr. John Hunkin to rebuild t-h’at portion of the dam that was washed out by the early spring flood. Work will be commenced immediately. M-r. Gerald Ford, who during the summer has conducted a branch butcher shop for M-r. C. Tanton at Bayfield has returned to Exeter with Mrs. Ford and little son. is taking over the agency surance company. Mr. and M-is. Sylvanus Pearl spent Saturday in London. Jackie Cann, w-ho is in the War Memorial Hospital is slowly improv­ ing. He will for several trouble. Mr. Frank Ida, Mrs. Mary Mawhinney and Mr. and Mrs. M.
