Taylor. The cast in cluded Miss Grace Pepper, Miss Gertrude Hoffman, Miss jean Weber Mrs. Betty Taylor, Mrs, Maurice Kflumpp, -Addison Tieman, Garnet Wildfong, Albert Goetz and Mervyn Tieman. Phone 102 ROL.LIHS’ GROCERY We Deliver ir- CREDITON EAST Death of Henry Pfaff Crediton lost one of its begt known residents in the death of Henry Pfaff in his 78th year. He was (born in Lautar. Hessan. Germany and was married in 1880 in Grumburg, Hes san, Germany to Elizabeth Schmidt, of Lehnhein, Germany. In 1884 they came to Canada and settled in Hay Township, Huron County, where he farmed for many years. Surviving are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Isaac Gower, Lucan; Mrs, Daniel Gower, Kelwood, Man,; Mrs. Nelson Schenk, Crediton and Mrs. Henry Clark, Dashwood and three sons, Henry Pfaff, Stephen; Oscar Pfaff, Woodham and Otto Pfaff, of Credit on and 35 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family were all present at the funeral except Mrs. Daniel Gower, of Kelwood, Man. The funeral, which Was largely attended was held on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. from his late residence. Burial took place in- the Crediton Evangel ical cemetery. Rev. Mr. Johnsen of tihe United Church officiating as the Evangelical pastor, Rev. Mr. Pletch being in Chesley at the Con ference. The pall bearers were Fred Kerr, Wm. Motz, Harry Lewis, Gordon Merner, Sam Sims and Wm. Cliff.The sympathy of this community is extended to Mrs. Pfaff and fam ily in the loss of a loving husband and father.
