Mrs. Edna Hearts, of Toronto, is visiting witih her parents, Mr. and Mrs, E. A. Follick. Mrs. Follick has been, quite ill during the week but at present is somewhat improv­ ed. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Finlay and son, of Detroit and Mr. Oscar And­ erson, of Sarnia, visited for a couple of days last week with Mr. and Geo. Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Wm Coon family, of Beachville and Mr. Mrs. L. Lord, of Toronto, visited with Mr. and Mrs. M. Walker over the week-end. Rev. Mr. Hunt. For some years the pair of wrens that nest -on the premises of Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Dore have always come on the first of May and this year was no exception to the rule. 'They were first seen last Saturday morning and were welcome visitors. Several local young men are spon­ soring a dance at the Exeter Arena on Coronation night to which the public is invited. A London or­ chestra has been engaged and those in charge state that no rowdyism will be tolerated. Miss Duff, Provincial field worker for the W. C. T. U., visited in town this week and addressed several of the schools in this vicinity. She spoke at the Exeter H. S. and ad­ dressed a union meeting of the Y. P,A. in Main St. Tuesday evening. « James St. Evening Auxiliary The Willing Workers’ Evening Auxiliary of James Street church held their May meeting at the home of Mrs. W. H. Pollen.
