A Very enjoyable social evening was spent. The young (people ah'e indebted to Mr. Will Sillery and Mr. Carmen Cann for the sleigh ride. Classes Hold Social Evening' The senior and intermediate groups of the C.G.I.T. met jointly on Tuesday evening in James St. church. Roll call, sing-song and worship service. Mrs. Page address­ ed the girls on “Cherish Health.” The new senior group leader Miss Olive Stevenson was introduced. Miss Viola Hodgson will also be as­ sociate leader of the intermediate group. O. G. I. T. The Young Ladies and Men’s Classes of James Street Sun­ day School held a very pleasant ev­ ening in the basement of the church on Monday evening of last week. All looked their best in bonnets sup­ plied bj the young ladies who were responsible for a very fine program of games. After the program the young men showed all present that they could compet'e with anyone in serving a bountiful lunch. The ev­ ening was brought to a close and all felt they had had a pleasant and profitable evening. Mr. George Lamond of the Uni­ versity of' Western Ontario will oc­ cupy the pulpit of Caven Presbyter­ ian church next Sunday at both ser­ vices. The annual meeting of the Orange Lodges of South Huron was called to meet in Exeter on. Tuesdajr but owing to the storm and4 the impas­ sable condition of tihe roads the meeting was postponed. A special revival campaign will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel from* .February- 8th to the 14th con­ ducted by Staff Capt. A. Bracey, of Toronto. Everyone welcome. Commissioner* J.. Norry had a number! of men with sleighs engag­ ed for several days last week in carting the snow off the Main St. The snow was piled several feet high on either side of the street. Mr. -II. T. Rowe, who recently un­ derwent an operation in Victoria Hospital, London, is at present suf­ fering, from pleurisy and his condi­ tion is not as satisfactory as his friends woud like to see.
