The Young People’s Guild, of
Caven Presbyterian 'church has ar
ranged for a special service for Sun
day evening which will be attractive
to all, especially to the young
people of the community. Under the
leadership of its energetic president,
Mr. Ray Pryde, the Guild is having
a special speaker in the per
son of Mr. Ernest Moodie, of Tor
onto, President of the Provincial
Young People’s Societies of the
Presbyterian Church. He is bringing
with him other officials of the pro
vincial organization. It is expected
that representatives will also be
present from Goderich, Seaforth,
Clinton and Hensall. A young
people’s choir will furnish the mu
sic. A cordial invitation is being
extended to everyone. *

Exeter are planning a mammoth
celebration for the morning of May
6th, the 25th anniversary of the
King’s ascension to the throne.
There will be a grand parade to the
James Street United Church, led by
the town band at 10 a.m. This will
be followed by patriotic choruses by the school children under the direc
tion of Mr. Goulding. Speeches by the
Reeve and two High School pupils
and a pageant, “Miss Candaa”, by lHigh School and Senior Public
School girls under the direction of
Miss Brown.
