Mr. Raymond Moore, of Fergus, delighted the congregation of Main Street United Church at the evening service with a beautifully rendered solo entitled "Just For To-day.” Mr. Robt. Gambrill, Organist and Chc-ir Master, of Elora United Church for the past five years, has accepted a similar position at Pal­ merston, at a substantial ' salary. Mrs. H. Six car load of Young People from the Main Street Church started out to visit the Young People nt Grand Bend on Tuesday evening. After considerable snow shovelling, five of the cars got through one of them having turned back after going as far as Dashwood. After a pleasant social hour at Grand Bend the young people met with considerable diffi­ culty in getting home again, arriv­ ing here about one o’clock. D.D.G.M. Bro. E. M. Dignan and installing team visited the Oddfel­ lows Lodge at Brucefield on Thurs­ day evening of last week and in­ stalled the officers for the current term. Followng the business of the evening refreshments were, serv­ ed. On Monday evening Bros. Dig- nan, C. Salter, S. Reid and James Bowey attended an "At Home” of Brucefield lodge. Margaret Martin told an interesting story of Queen Esther; Margaret Taman continued the topic in an interesting way on Korea. Af­ ter the meeting a dainty lunch was served and a friendly hour was spent by all the girls.
