Eighteen members answered roll call and there were five visitors. A few items of business ‘ were discussed. It was unamiously decided to send th© autograph quilt, which has al ready netted the Institute forty dollars, to Dr. Margaret 'Strang, Medical Missionary, \ formerly of Hurondale, Ont. a.hd in active ser vice at Dixonville, Peace River Dis trict, Alberta. Arrangements were made for the summer meeting. The topic “Canadian Industries” was ably taken 'by our popular reeve, Mr. B. M. Francis and thoroughly enjoyed 'by everyone present. Clif ford Quance gave two snappy mouthorgan selections, accompan ied On the piano by Mrs. H. Carey. A bright Easter reading was given by Miss Margaret Melville. A few interesting remarks were given by the district president, Miss Nettie Keddy, of Hurondale. A humorous feature of the afternoon was the house dress parade of the members.
