Kit* Lutheran Church Meeting The annual meeting of the theran Church was held on Alonday afternoon with Air. L. H. Rader as chairman. Rader was re-elected chairman of the Board for the year 1932. ‘The church has been successful in meeting all financial obligations for the year and the sura of $408.60 lias been remitted for Missions. There was a fair attendance. The Secretary- Treasurer, Amos Doupe presented the annual report and financial staitment which showed that the fair of 1931 was one of the best ever held. Aliss Beryl Hill was relieving during her absence. Airs. Everett Falirner had a strange experience for this time of the year one morning, last week while getting potatoes pulled out a small garter snake from the bin thinking it was a string. The Woman’s Association of the United Church held their first meeting of the year in the Sunday School rooms on* Thursday last. The new president, Airs. Jas Alawhinncy, very ably presided and about twenty-five .ladies responded to the roll call. Born in that township years ago she was a daughter of late Air. and Mrs. Alexander W er. After spending her early in the county she lived for m years in Davenport, Iowa.
