Mu Warren had been ail­ ing since last spring but had been confined to his bed for only a few : days, the breaking up of the con­ stitution being the -cause of his death. Th0 deceased was born in Devonshire, England and at the age of 22 years canie to Canada work­ ing in Hamilton and the United States, For three years he was en­ gaged in a saw mill owned by the late James Pickard in Exeter. After that he returned to England where i he was united in marriage with I Mary Grace; Down. (Between five | and six years latex’ with his wife and two children he returned to Ex­ eter and from here moved to Hay township where the family resided for about eighteen years. They spent three years at Centralia and 24 years ago moved to lot 18, fifth concession of Usborne. The deceas­ es survived by liis bereaved widow one daughter, Beatrice and son, William, both at home. He was-a splendid gardenex* taking great pride in this part of his work. He was also a kind and loving neigh­ bour ever ready to assist and also beloved by all who knew him. One sistei’ resides in Dublin, Ireland, The last of his brothers predecease | ed. him in September of this year. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be 1 conducted by Rev. D. The president, Miss Margaret Cam’pbell, presided. The secretary, Miss Elaine Stanbury gave the report of the year, which was satisfactory, and the treasurer, Miss Ethel Kydd’s report showed $38,00 had been raised. The missy­ ion band gave a junior membership certificate to Miss Ethel Kydd and blue seals to Misses Elaine Stanbury and Margaret Campbell. The fol­ lowing officers were elected for the ensuing year; President, Miss garet Campbell; vice president, Elaine Stanbury; secretary, Helen Grieve; assistant, Miss bara Atkinson; treasurer, Miss el Kydd; Mission Band leader, (Rev.)
