Last week while engaged in

and will be in the hospital for some

A large crowd went from here on
Monday afternoon to Crediton, to
witness the ball game between Ailsa
Craig and Hensail winning by a
score of 19-7. On Friday evening
last Hensall played at Ailsa Craig
and was defeated by 9-4, As each
team had won a-game. It was arrang
ed to have the play-off at Crediton.

preached in the Evangelical church
on Sunday evening. Eldon favored
both services with solos.
The final game of the 0. B. A. was
pjayed on the local diamond between
Ailsa Craig and Hensall on Monday
afternoon. The score being 19-7 in
favor of Hensall.
The Crediton School Fair will be
held on September 10th. The Wo
men’s Institute will have a booth on
the grounds. All members are ex
pected to donate sandwiches or
candy.

small bone in one iarm. His injuries

Dashwood. Mr. Finkbeiner, is now
carrying his arm in. a sling) and his
