On Friday evening last Hensall played at Ailsa Craig and was defeated by 9-4, As each team had won a-game. It was arrang­ ed to have the play-off at Crediton. Buchanan, of Detroit, visited Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd England last Friday. Rev. and Mrs. E. D. Becker and Eldon, of Elmira, spent Sunday with friends in the vicinity. Rev. Becker preached in the Evangelical church on Sunday evening. Eldon favored both services with solos. The final game of the 0. B. A. was pjayed on the local diamond between Ailsa Craig and Hensall on Monday afternoon. The score being 19-7 in favor of Hensall. The Crediton School Fair will be held on September 10th. The Wo­ men’s Institute will have a booth on the grounds. All members are ex­ pected to donate sandwiches or candy. CREDITON EAST Mrs. Wm.
