Elder are glad to hear he is improv­ ing after his recent severe illness. Anniversary services will be held in the Carmel Presbyterian church on Sunday, June 14tli. Rev. M'r. ^Goodwill, of Blyth, will have charge -of the services. Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper was observed in the Carmel Presby­ terian Church on Sunday morning last with Rev. Mr. McIlroy having (Charge of the services. A Court of Revision on the Ass­ essment Roll of the Village will be field in the Town Hall on Monday evening, June 1st. Quite a number of appeals have been entred. The Mission Band of the United church are putting on an entertain­ ment in the basement of the church on Friday evening.
