INCREASED SPACE IN TIMES-
ADVOCATE
That advertising in The Times-Ad-
vocate is effective is shown from the
fact that the Salada Tea. Company of
Canada, who have been regular ad
vertisers in this paper for some
years, will use 60 per cent, more
space in the Times-Advocate in 1913 4
than they used in 193 3 A letter re
ceived from this company the past
week says in part: “After carefully
.considering our advertising for 193 4
we have planned to increase our
space in your paper by approximate
ly sixty per cent.

There was a time when the Main
St. of Exeter was lined with posts to
which horses were tied when driven
to town hut one by one the posts
have gradually disappeared until to
day there are very few left. With the
coming of winter more horses are
being driven and there is a short
age of tie-posts. Added to this the
motorists without thinking park
their cars in front of these posts
making it more difficult. It is hoped
that motorists will take this little
