Northcott was taken ill last week and was removed to St. Joseph’s Hospital, London, on Sun­ day in an ambulance, where she is undergoing treatment. Mrs. W. R. Goulding entertained her Sunday School class of 4,twelve girls from the primary room of the James Street Church to a lawn party on Saturday afternoon. The small children as well as the older ones have 'been regaieing them­ selves with new green peas taken from wagons as load after load pass­ es through town on its way to the canning factory. The streets and sidewalks have been practically lit­ tered with pea straw. Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Dore returned last week •'from a pleasant motor trip to Ottawa, up the Gatineau riv­ er, through the Laurentian moun­ tains to Montreal and Quebec.
