During the snow storm AVednes- day evening one of the Arrow buses which runs between Toronto and London went into the ditch on high way No. 4, near London and had to be abandoned the passengers being taken to London by auto. One side of the bus dropped into the ditch several feet but the side of the em bankment kept it from toppling over. None of the glass, was broken. An other automobile driving . north struck one of the white fences which guard a portion of the highway and broke soff three posts before careen ing into the ditch. The meeting opened with a hymn and prayer by the president, Miss Amelia Acheson. .The business was discussed and the meeting next week which is to take the form of a Hall owe’en Social was. changed to Friday night.
