'The regular Monthly meeting of the W.M.S. waS held May 21st, with nine members present^ 'Mrs. Muirch Temperance secretary was in charge. A’ Devotional Leaflet was head by Mrsl (Rev.) White. Considerable business was dealt with. Mrs. Fred Delbridge sent in her resignation as leader of the Mission B-and which was- regrettfully accepted. It was decided to hol'd the meetings (on Thursday afternoon instead of Wed nesday for the next four months. It was also decided to hold an attend ance -contest to try to raise the at tendance of the meetings. Mrs. C. Johns and Mrs. White to be chief tains. The regular meeting Oaks Mission Circle was held surprise at the home of Miss jorie Hunter, who has been visitin, with her parents for the past three weeks. JRands brought in an appeal at the meeting for Mr. Jacob Lindenfield claiming that the* assessment on the iLindenfield property, had been rais ed this year but this was found to &e a mistake as the assessment was 4he same as in 1929.
