Annual Conference took special no
tice of the absence of a number of
its usual members. Rev. M. L. Wing
who was absent for the first time
in fifty years of service but we hope
for his -speedy recovery and contin
ued service now as an energetic
member of the Calvary Memorial
Church Kitchener; Rev. N. H. Reib-
ling who suffered a nervous collapse
the past' year and sustains a super
annuated relation to the church for
one year, he is recovering rapidly.
No one. would have enjoyed the
Conference more than the late J. H-
Holtzmann. The pastor -of Crediton
had the duty of writing a suitable
resolution which was approved by
the session and' will be sent to the
family.

The Funeral of Mrs. C. Brenner'
The funeral of the late Mrs.
Christina. Brenner, who died at the
home of her daughter in Zurich on
Thursday morning was held on Sun
day afternoon with Rev. Ness offic
iating. Interment in the Bronson
Line cemetery.. The deceased had
reached the age of 81 years and- 8
days and is survived by three dau
ghters and two sons. .;
