MIDDL SCHOOL RESULTS The Middle School results of the pupils prepared at Exeter High School appear below and, on the whole, are quite gratifying, The public being particularly interested in the work of the three teachers remaining on the staf will be pleased to learn that their efforts have met with the customary large measure of success. Without making any allowance for candidates who owing "to either absence .during parts of the year or to inadequate preparation elsewhere should not be counted against a teacher's ability, the percentage of passes was high. For example in Algebra of twenty-two candidates attempting the paper, 5 obtained class one proficiency,* 5 obtained class two, one obtained class three, nine obtained credit and only two failed. Canadian history and French composition also gave outstanding results while those of the other subjects taught by these •teachers were very satisfactory. Two promising young graduates have been appointed to the staff and pupils and parents the prospects for next year arewith co-operation by bright. X Passed in all - attempts. subjects attempted .
