ply for Exeter is receiving attention
and a representative of a company
who guarantees to deliver a quant
ity of water suitable for the town's
requirements -or ho pay Will address
the Chamber of Commerce at their
banquet Friday evening.
The Exeter Canning factory are at
present making a new addition to
their already .large plant. Three
additional Viners are being installed
which will greatly facilitate in
handling the crop of phas. Addi
tional hydro power is also being in
stalled.

the Exeter Canning Factory has rent

the W.M.S. of James Street, United
Cliurch was held in the church pftt-
lors on Thursday afternoon last with

It was also decided to have a cutting
and sewing bee at the church on

BALL BOYS DOWN TO PRACTICE
’ The Exeter ball boys are rounding
into shape for the opening game of
the W.O.B.A; which wijl take place
ill- London on May, 24th at 3 p.m.
Several stiff practices were held last
week and when the weather is fine
the boys will be found on the dia
mond three nights "a .week, They
are showing great form and .should
give a good account of themselves.
Mr. R. G. Seldon, president of the
Columbia Handle Works, has pre
sented the team with a dozen fine
bats. A great deal of work has
been spent in fixing up the diamond
which will be in excellent- shape, both
the infield and outfield. "
