Miss Marjorie Delbridge had charge of the meeting which opened with a hymn after which Mrs. (Rev.) White led in prayer. The scripture lesson was read by Miss Florence Herdman, L'avona Cooper/ Florence Bell and Helen Murch. Roll call was answered by a verse on faith. Misses Lena Pym and Lavona Cooper favored them with a pleasing duet “God will be with you”; after the business period “Days of Development,” chapter six of the study book, “Drums of Dark ness” was well given by Miss Mary Herdman. This - ■ very enjoyable meeting closed in the usual way. The play entitled ‘Step on it Stan’ given by the Saintsbury Community Club in the church here last Friday night was greeted by a full house. It was a fine play, splendidly acted, every character strong in his or her own part with small chance to say anyone was better .than another. Centralia orchestra very kindly fur nished music between acts which was greatly appreciated by every one. Proceeds, from the evening amounted to about $60.00. Miss Elva Horne, of London, 'vis ited at her home here over the week end. Her mother, Mrs. Wes. Horne, who has been ill is improving. Mr. Frank Brock has purchased a new Essex car.
