Mr. Chester Cornish, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Cornish, under went an operation for chronic ap pendicitis at the Exeter Hospital Wednesday afternoon, a speedy recovery. We suppose the reason that the girls were 19ft out is because none of them have as yet reached the a^e. of thirty years. A, "Shep” Stanlake, who has been visiting with relatives \n this community left Monday for De troit prior to returning to his1- home in Winnipeg. Mr. Staillake, al though past the athletic age, devel oped into a real hockey player while here. Further games between the Fats and the Slims Will have to be Mr. and Mrs. B. W. F. Beavers, returned home Monday after a pleas-: ant visit in Hamilton, Toronto and Niagara Falls, At.
