Charles Lewis officiating, The music was under the direction of the church organist, Mrs. Norman Wightman, who was assisted by Miss Bernice McDougall as pianist, This interdenominational ser- vice was called "An Experience in Worship" and divided into four parts, The Prophecy, The Beginning, The Coming and The Life. Dr. D. J. Lane, minister of Knox Presbyterian Church, led in the first part of the worship service and took his scripture lesson from Deuteronomy 12: 15-18 and Isaiah 9: 6-7 and 11: 1-6. Frank Raithby of the Baptist Church for The Be- ginning, took his lesson from John 1: 1-5, followed by prayer to prepare everyone for His Coming. The second lesson, Luke 1: 26-38 was followed by a trio, "The Little Road to Bethle- hem", sung by Misses Marsha Koapmans, Anne Speidelberg and Betty Youngblut. Rev. Lewis took "The Com- ing" and read Luke 2: 1-7 and gave a prayer of thanksgiving for Christ. He concluded' this portion by reading St. Luke 2: 8-20, Dr. Lane took The Life, and read St. Matthew 2: 1-12 and followed with a prayer for peace During this service many car- ols were sung and the choir composed of the Young People's society led in the service of LONDESBORO (Vorrespondent Ws. sort.Allen Phone Brad# :$7 r 5) Ken Gaunt spent Christmas Day with friends at Lion's Head. There was a good attendance at the Christmas service held on Sunday evening, when the senior and junior choirs pres- ented the "Festival of Carols". Among the many beautiful numbers "The Drummer Boy's Carol" was exceptional. The church was tastefully decorated with two Christmas trees and candelabra.
