Williams A funeral service for Walt- er John Williams, 86, late of RR 4, Clinton, was held Sun- day afternoon, December 24, at the Ball and Mutch funeral home, Clinton, with Rev, Peter Dymond of St. Paul's Anglican Church officiating. Burial was made in Forest Lawn Memor- ial Gardens, London. ,Mr, Williams was born in England and came to Canada 59 years ago; he was a former London resident, Mr. Williams died Saturday 'at the Thamer nursing home, Seaforth. He was a shoe cutter by trade. Surviving are five sons, Leon- ard and William, London; Ken- neth, RR 4, Clinton; Edward, Fort Erie; Fred, Toronto; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Eliza- beth) Mead, and Mrs. George (Vera) Evans, both a London. Mrs. Frank Glew Mrs. Frank Glew, Clinton, died Christmas Day at the Clin- ton Public Hospital. She had been ill 19 weeks following a stroke. Born in Seaforth, the former Anne Roberts, she was a daugh- ter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Roberts, and had lived in the Clinton area all her life. She was a member of On- 'tario Street United Church, a Sunday School teacher, and a former president of the Wo- man's Association. She was al- so a past noble grand of the Huronic Rebekah lodge. Surviving, besides her hus- band, are two sons, Harold, Preston and William, Clinton; one daughter, Mrs. Abe (Lil- lian) Orpen, Clinton; and two sisters, Mrs. William Smithers, Seaforth, and Mrs. A. Archi- bald, Peterborough. Service from the Beattie funeral home, Clinton, by Rev. Grant Mills on Wednesday aft- ernoon and interment in Clin- ton cemetery.
