tional Committee, noted that
some of the schools in the four
districts co-operating to pro-
duce this vocational wing, will
be in extreme need of more
classrooms by next September.
If the new construction here
is to serve its greatest purpose,
it must be ready to accommod-
ate these youngsters,
Although Miss Boyd is a
newcomer to ,CDCI, she is not
new to this area. She lives
in Walton and attended Sea-
forth District High School.
In 1960, she graduated from
the University of Western On-
tario, where she majored in
history. Last year she was a
teacher hr Port Colborne High
School. This year she teaches
history to Grades nine and 11
and girls' physical education
to Grades nine and 12,
During her leisure, she en-joys 'badminton and, bowling.
Besides -these more active in-
terests, Miss Boyd also collects
classical records and is an ar-
dent seamstress,
If we were to name her
most prized' possession, we
would suggest the shiny, new
diamond which is quite notice-
able on her left hand.
