St. Mark's Anglican Church
will hold their Church services
in July at 8.30 p.M, with the
rector, the Rev. Robert Meally
in charge.
Knox Presbyterian Church
services will be held at 9.30
a.m. with Dr. D. J, Lane of-
ficiating.
There will be no church in
Knox United but the combined
congregations of the charge will
meet at Donnybrook on July
9; Westfield on the 16th with
Rev, Elmer Taylor, of Coder-
ich officiating. No church ser-
vice in any 'of the churches on
July 23 but Sunday school cl-
asses will be held on the 23rd
'at 10.15 a.m. at Knox United,
Auburn.
Ball's Memorial
The 35th Annual Memorial
Service was held last Sunday
at Ball's cemetery with Craig
Peters of the Baptist church of-
ficiating. The service of song
was' led by the organist, Mrs.
Robert J. Phillips with a choir
of members from the churches
in the village. During the ser-
vice a duet, "Follow Me", was
sung by the Rev. and Mrs. John
Ostrom, Winghean.
Robert Arthur, chairman of
the cemetery board' welcomed
everyone on behalf of the board
and stated that he had sent in
his resignation and that a
meeting of ' the plotholders
would be held soon to elect a

an embroidered lace daisy motif
with matching white nylon or
ganea wristlets. Her elbow-
length veil .of pure silk French
illusion was held by a crown of
seed' pearls. She carried as cas-
cade of deep pink roses, white
feathered carnations, stephan-
otis and ivy,
Mrs. Donald Dewar, Atwood,
sister of 'the bride, was matron
of honor, wearing a dress of
Elizabeth blue nylon tricot over
silk taffeta. The bodice was
softly draped over a shirred
cummerbund and featured a
scoop neckline and short shir-
red sleeves.
Miss Marilyn Daer, sieter of
the bride, was bridesmaid wear-
ing a drenS the same as the
matron. of honor, arid carried a
similar .bouquet. The groom was
attended by Jerry Mathers,
Woodstock, friend of the groom
and the ushers were Gordon
Daer, RR 1, Auburn and Alvin
Daer, Goderich, brothers of the
'bride,
For a reception which follow-
ed in the church parlours, the
bride's mother received the
guests wearing a sheath dress
of blue and white nylon tricot,
matching jacket, white and'
pink accessories and' a pink
rose corsage. She was assisted
by the groom's mother who
wore a dress of green and white
nylon tricot, white accessories
served on the board for four
years,
He spoke of the work done
at the cemetery and said that
the money had 'been invested in
the Sterling Trust Company arid
that the revenue from these
bonds would be used for the
upkeep of the cemetery gr-
ounds and church.
Mr. Peters gave an inspiring
message on "How shall we ar-
ise?" He based his remarks on
Panel's letters to the Corinth-
ians and spoke of Resurrection
through Jesus Christ.
