Clinton Public Hospital Satur-
day for a gash in her right
arm requiring 100 stitches,
The accident happened when a
car driven by her husband
rolled over and was demolish-
ed on the County Road, three
miles east of Varna.

vices Sunday afternoon, first
in front of the cenotaph where
Legion Chaplain Rev. Currie
Window conducted a brief ser-
vice. Jim Clark, president of
the 'Legion placed a flag at
the cenotaph.
Flags were placed on graves
of departed members at Hen-
sel]. Union and McTaggart's
Cemeteries. Rev. Winlaw de-
livered a very inspiring mes-
sage at the Union Cemetery,
and Percy Campbell, District
Deputy Grand Master, gave the
Oddfellows charge, and P. L.
McNaughton the financial sec-
retary, read the names of grav-
es decorated.

Regular Meeting
Plan for Picnic

The SS 4 Goderich Township
Community Club met at the
home of Mrs. Harold Howard
for the June meeting. The presi-
dent, Mrs. William Lobb opened
the meeting with the Creed, fol-
lowed 'by the Lord's Prayer in
unison.
Mrs. James Lobb read the
minutes, of the last Meeting
which were 'approved, Mrs.
Lorne Tyndall gave the treas-
urer's report, which showed a
balance of $68.93. A thank-you
letter was read for the donation
to Care. This included a map
showing where the donation
was spent in Iran. Roll call
was responded to by 17 mem-
bers, and 20 children were
present.
Plans were made for the
community picnic, which is to
be held on Friday afternoon,
June 23, on the school grounds.
Mrs. William Labb and Mrs.
Stewart Farquhar were ap-
pointed to he in charge of the
sports. The .meeting closed with
the Mizpah benediction. Lunch
was served by the hostess, with
the assistance of Mrs. Fred
Lobb and Mrs. Harry Oakes'.
The next meeting will be 'at
the 'home of Mrs. William Lorbb.
