Merrill) The SS 4 Goderich Township Community Club met at the home of Mrs. Harold Howard for the June meeting. The presi- dent, Mrs. William Lobb opened the meeting with the Creed, fol- lowed 'by the Lord's Prayer in unison. Mrs. James Lobb read the minutes, of the last Meeting which were 'approved, Mrs. Lorne Tyndall gave the treas- urer's report, which showed a balance of $68.93. A thank-you letter was read for the donation to Care. This included a map showing where the donation was spent in Iran. Roll call was responded to by 17 mem- bers, and 20 children were present. Plans were made for the community picnic, which is to be held on Friday afternoon, June 23, on the school grounds. Mrs. William Labb and Mrs. Stewart Farquhar were ap- pointed to he in charge of the sports. The .meeting closed with the Mizpah benediction. Lunch was served by the hostess, with the assistance of Mrs. Fred Lobb and Mrs. Harry Oakes'. The next meeting will be 'at the 'home of Mrs. William Lorbb.
