The championship is based on a, system of points: The win- ner of each series of 2 out of 3 gaines received a point. Ate Bevan and Ted Turner received the only point for Clinton The badminton teams were under the leadership of K. Cly- nick and R. Welsh. C, Boswell, Seaforth; case finding chairman, R. B. Pat- terson, Hensall; social service and rehabilitation chairman, Russell Knight, Brussels, and medical officer, Dr. R. M. Al- dis, Goderich, medical officer of health far Huron County. Dr. Ross was also appointed representative to the Ontario Tuberculosis Association, and Mr. Stewart, seal sales chair- man. Members of the nominating committee were Judge Frank Fingland, Clinton; Elmer D. Bell, QC, Exeter, and Magis- trate Glenn Hays, Goderich. Mrs. Edith Russell, Seafoette secretary-'treasurer of the as.- sociation, reported a balance of $13,317 as of March 31. Majority Checked Mrs. Russell reported 51.7 percent of the population of Huron County took advantage of tuberculin testing and chest X-nay surveys last summer.
