WA exuective. She spoke. on
the meetings she attended in
Christ Church Cathedral, Ott-
awa, from September 11 to 15,

Board of the WA.
The Women's Au, illary of
the Anglican Church was found-
ed in Ottawa • by Mrs. Tilton
in 1885, so this year marks
its 75th !anniversary.
The central theme of this
great meeting was the exten-
sion of the scope of the work
of the WA to the whole of
life, at home • and abroad.
"Witnessing to Christ is a full
time job," Mrs. Calder stated
"and must extend to all phases
and departments' of life". There
are 24 Diocese in the Dominion
of Canada and last year the
Anglican WA raised more than
one million dollars in Canada.
On a more somber note, Mrs.
Calder called attention to 'the
feet that Episcopalians in Spain
a minority group there, are be-
ing subjected to persecution.
This matter of urgency was
brought up at the Dominion
meeting and action planned.
Following the WA sessions,
the clergy and laity met in the
Parish Hall, where the Sea-
forth ladies served a lovely
tea.
The death occurred Sunday,
November 6, at his home in
Hullett Township, of William
Wesley Moore, 66.
He was a native of Hullett,
son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
William Moore, and had farm-
ed all his life in that township.
Surviving are two brothers,
James Albert and, John Ed-,
ward, both of Toronto, and one
sister, Miss Mary Moore, Tor-
onto.
Service from the Ball and
Mutch funeral home, Clinton,
