turned to Port Elgin on Mon-
day after • having spent the
weekend with Mrs. MoLaren's
sisters, Misses A. M. and E. J.
Stirling.

Mrs, Van Slenbrouck's sister,
Mrs. Arthur Brisson the past

St. John Ambulance
A class of 18 persons at Exe-
ter instructed in the St. Johns
Ambulance course by C. H.
Magee, Clinton , graduated
recently. Three men, including
the Rev, R. S. Hiltz, passed
the senior certificate course for
the second time. Included in
the course were two men from
RCAF Ctation Centralia.

London, spent 'the weekend
with Mr. and Mrs. William E.
Parker.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fer-
guson, Jr., David, Carolyn, Judy
and Johnny, London, visited his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Ferguson on Sunday. Miss Del-
la Lou Ferguson, who had been
visiting her brother and fam-
ily in London returned home
with them.
Mrs. R. J. Larson returned
home on Sunday evening after
a most enjoyable trip to visit
her brother, Percy Parker and
other relatives in North Dako-
ta. Mrs. Betty Lou McLeod
and Lea Ann motored to Sar-
nia for her mother.

and four children, London; Mr.
and Mrs, Kenneth, Castle d

Ronald Castle, Goderich were
also with their father. on. Sun-
day for a family gathering,
Guests of -the Rev. and Mrs.
W. C, Smith at the parsonage
last week were their niece and
husband, Mr and Mrs. Robert
Smuck, Toronto. Miss Bertha
Smith, Toronto, came on Tues-
day to visit her nephew and
wife, Rev. and Mrs. W. C.
Smith.
Mr, and Mrs. David' L.
Woods, Conneaut, Ohio, have
been guests at the home of his
brother-in-law and sister, Mr.
and Mrs. Alex Sparks for a
week. Their niece, Miss Beu-
lah Wood's, Indiana, has also
been visiting, at the Sparks
home on the 4th con., Goderich
Township.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon, Pfaff
and Mark have returned to
their home in Windsor after
having spent the past week at
their cottage, Victoria Place.
Mr, and Mrs. George Pfaff, El-
mira, were the guests' of their
son, also Mr. and Mrs. Melvin
Holman and infant son.
Mrs. Fred Weston suffered a
painful accident and shock on
Thursday evening last, She
was washing dishes in Trinity
patsh Hall following the Guild
Supper when she sustained
scalds to her right hand and
fingers from boiling water. She
was taken to Clinton for medi-
cal attention and is gradually
recovering at home'.
