This four-level design by architect
Joint Bird, of Westmount, will be
of particular interest to the pros-
pective home owner seeking a
roomy house with garage without
tsquiring a very large lot.
The interior plan of the house
has many attractive qualities. The
combination family and dining
room, the practical U-shaped work-
ing area in the kitchen, the conven-
ient washroom and large living
roam make the plan appealing. The
basement, which contains heating
and storage areas, extends only
under the living room. The bed-
rooms are eight steps up from the
living room and the family room•
and kitchen seven steps below
The total floor area is 1,173
square feet and the exterior dimen-
sions are 35 feet by 32 feet. six
inches. Working drawings for the
house, known as Desien 762 may
bb obtained from Central Mei Igage
and Housing Corporation at min-
imum cost.
